Q: What is the contest running period?

A: The contest period begins December 1st, 2009 at 9:00 AM EST and ends December 31, 2010 at 11:59:59 EST.

Q: What sizes and formats can I upload as my entry?

A: Videos: Formats - .WMV, .3GP, .AVI, .MOV, .MP4, .MPEG, .FLV or .MKV
Size - Cannot be longer than 2 minutes (120 seconds)
Photos: Formats - JPEG
Size - File size not to exceed 1MB

Q: I want to submit an entry but it's been published to YouTube previously. Can I?

A: Yes. As long as your entry has not won previous awards or has not been published previously by any entity, including as creative work on the internet.

Q: How will I know if my entry is approved?

A: You will receive an email within 2 business days to notify you if your entry was approved or declined.

Q: What if I have a good story to tell but no picture. Am I still eligible to enter and/or win?

A: Unfortunately, no. A video or picture is required in order to help tell your story.

Q: How many times can I enter?

A: You can enter once per day for the "Contest" and once per day for the "Sweepstakes". See the rules and regulations section for complete details.

Q: How many times can I win?

A: It is possible to win up to two times - once for the most votes in the monthly contests and once for the grand prize.

Q: Why do I have to register to vote?

A: You must register in order to vote because if you vote for the monthly winning entry, you get your own chance to win! If we don't know who you are, we can't contact you.
